The why

Brainwave Neurosim was developed by Dr Dayle Keown, an Anaesthetic specialist at Hutt Hospital, Wellington, New Zealand. Conceived during his time as the Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care (SNACC) fellow at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. It was born from a desire for a tool to generate a realistic, real-time, modifiable frontal EEG output simulator for use in the education of frontal EEG tools in anaesthesia and critical care settings. The tool continues to be refined and improved through review and input from colleagues equally passionate about EEG, both in New Zealand and abroad.
